Under the Goods and Services Tax (GST), a business must register as a normal taxed person if its sales are more than Rs.40 lakh, Rs.20 lakh, or Rs.10 lakh. The term for this is GST registration.
For some businesses, it is required to sign up for GST. If the organisation does business without being registered with GST, it will be breaking the law and will have to pay heavy fines.
Usually, it takes between 2 and 6 working days to register for GST.
Step 1: Go to the GST site and click on "New GST Registration" to apply for GST Registration online.
Step 2: Fill in the relevant information, such as the name of the business, the state, the number on the pan card, etc.
